Our Unique Offer, Customized to Your Gardening Goals.

Zucchini Flower
At EarthCraft Design we are more than just garden builders.  Anybody with a hammer can go and erect gardens for you, and you might even be moderately successful, the first year.  We offer something different.

We aren't a general contractor, or a handyman service called out to build your garden.  We are designers, educators, and facilitators, that also build gardens as part of our services.  Here's what we offer that is different.

Aside from just a simple garden design, we have the tools and the ability for a 100% successful garden implementation.

Complete Package + Consultation + LandTrek (See Below)
(based on The Big Garden materials costs and labor)

What to expect:
  1. We will consult with you based on your needs and wants, then design your Dream Garden (if different from the one pictured above)
  2. Gather my team, and schedule your garden construction.
  3. Bring soil into the garden.  The Big Garden will take a truck load, and will need a loader to fill the garden efficiently.  Not all soils are created equal, so we will inoculate the soil with the proper soil microbiology for best plant growth and overall soil health.
  4. We will then implement your organic design, adding necessary components to help your garden be lower maintenance.
  5. We will add the soil cover, compost, mulch, wood chips, etc.

  7. Ongoing Consultation - Up to 1 hour per week for 4 weeks

1. Phone Consultations
There is an incredible amount of information found online about local climates, topography, soils, sun angles, and even predominant winds for almost every spot in the US.    As a land owner, we would like to offer you to send us your physical address, along with a simple tracing of your property lines, as well as your goals and vision for your dream property.  After the research is completed, usually within a week, we will call you and share what we have concluded are the best opportunities in your area, along with any challenges for your property that are directly related to your end goals.
Research plus 90-min. phone consultation --up to 1-acre = $295
For larger properties, add $10/acre
Example: 10 acres = $295 + (9 x $10) = $385

2. LandTrek (included in Big Garden Package, as it pertains to garden location)
Jeff Sokol, or another one of our designers, will walk throughout the property with you to explore the possibilities, and discover what design techniques and strategies of permaculture design would be most fitting for your goals with your particular property.  This is an upfront, verbal consultation with recommendations and baseline sketches will be provided if appropriate.  We will then provide some useful resources, recommended reading, websites, etc.
$175/hour, plus travel.
2-hour minimum for Residence, 3-Hour minimum for 1-acre+.
Travel is $.60/mile.

Please Note:  The full amount invested in either a Phone Consultation or a LandTrek will be deducted from the price of a Permaculture Design if purchased later.

3.  Garden Doctor, Garden Preparation

We will come to your garden and fix your existing beds to become highly productive organic food making machines.  We will assess your gardens, and write a prescription to get them back on track, along with providing you the knowledge to keep them going in good soil and food health.  When we are finished with them, they will be beautiful, organic, full of life, with reduced maintenance.
$295 minimum for first 200 sq. feet of garden space,
$75 for every additional 100 sq. feet. + $0.60 per mile over 20 miles RT
