Ruth Stout, born in 1884 was a fine lady of eccentric character and her own style.  Moving out to the country at the age of 45, she fell in love with gardening, and then realized that she didn't need to wait for the fields to be plowed, she could plant without it. 

Hence began her career as a no dig, organic gardener and speaker.  Watch the video to experience the humor, wisdom, and outstanding character of this fine lady and matriarch of today's "No Dig" gardening methods.
